Job summary

JF Petroleum Group in Raleigh, NC, is seeking a customer service representative to handle inquiries, log interactions, and coordinate with service, sales and distribution teams.

You will enter notes into the ERP system, process service requests with billing information, and ensure accurate follow‑up on customer requests. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required. This position offers competitive pay and benefits in a collaborative office environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices; previous industry experience a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of MS Word/Excel; familiarity with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV a plus).
• Ability to type 40+ WPM is a plus.

The pay for this position is $22/hr

Job Duties:

• Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated source.
• Keep records of customer interactions and transactions including inquiries, comments, and complaints.
• Respond promptly to customer’s inquiries.
• Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries.
• Enter detailed notes obtained by phone calls and emails into ERP system.
• Input service requests with required billing and service information.

Requirements

• Highschool Diploma or GED required
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices; previous industry experience a plus
• Knowledge of relevant computer applications (Microsoft Word/Excel, familiarity with large-scale ERP systems, Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a plus
• Ability to type (40+ WPM a plus)
• Knowledge of administrative procedures
• Numeric, oral and written language applications
• Must be able to meet company’s employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR, if driving for the company
• Physical Requirements: include occasional lifting/carrying of 10 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
