Job summary

JF Petroleum Group in Flower Mound, Texas seeks a reliable Technician/Inventory Specialist to support warehouse operations and service teams. You will manage parts coordination, inventory counts, and staging for technicians, ensuring timely deliveries and accurate records.

You will assist with shipping/receiving, perform periodic vehicle inventories, and help maintain organized storage and dispatch of materials to customers and technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• General knowledge of warehouse and inventory control systems.
• Experience with cycle count activities, forklift operation, shipping and receiving.
• Punctual with strong attendance history.
• Must meet company employment requirements including drug screen, background check, and MVR if driving.
• Physical ability to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds and stand 8–10 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Determine the needs of the Technician and coordinate parts.
• Cross reference parts and coordinate with supervisor for orders.
• Shipped parts via UPS to the location when needed.
• Stage parts for Technicians and notify Service Dept. of arrivals.
• Transfer inventory to Technicians’ trucks as required.
• Take stock on Technicians’ vehicles quarterly and count all items with company barcode.

We serve a diverse clientele including retail fueling stations, commercial and government fleets, and emergency power customers.Pay Range: $18-20/hr dependent on experience

Technician Support:

• Determine the needs of the Technician
• Cross reference if parts needed are in the company, if not, talk to supervisor to have ordered
• If specific part is located in another location, then contact warehouse personnel at said location and have shipped via UPS to our location
• When parts arrive stage for Technicians and alert Service Dept. parts have arrived
• Transfer to inventory to Technicians’ trucks

Warranty and Repairs:

• Collect cores and used parts to be repaired or replaced under a PO, SR, blue slip, etc.
• Fill out WRMA forms for Gilbarco, Veeder-Root, Gas Boy parts
• Confirm VeriFone warranty repairs on website (premier.verifone.com)
• Make sure all parts collected are to be repaired or replaced then ship to proper repair facilities and Track shipments with UPS

Technician Inventories:

• Take stock on every Technician’s Vehicle quarterly
• Scan in and count EVERY item that has one of the company’s barcode on it
• Evaluate with supervisor if Technician’s vehicle is over or under what the last inventory figures were

Warehouse Day to Day Functions:

• Organize and control stored materials and equipment
• Sees that material and equipment are properly stored
• Receiving, labeling, stocking new inventory
• Participates in an annual physical inventory
• Ensures that all materials received for customers are staged and marked, and the customer and/or sales persons are notified
• Serve as back up to sale materials over the counter to customers
• Assist with checking in dispensers and noting any damages or discrepancies
• Loading and unloading freight trucks
• Assist customers picking up equipment

Requirements

• Highschool Diploma or GED required
• General knowledge of warehouse and inventory control systems
• Experience with cycle count activities, forklift operation, shipping and receiving
• Punctual with strong attendance history
• Must be able to meet company’s employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR, if driving for the company
• Physical Requirements: Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds, frequent bending, stooping, standing 8-10 hours per day.
