Caterpillar in Clayton, NC is seeking a Warehouse Associate for 1st shift to perform material handling, warehousing, and related tasks for parts, materials, equipment and supplies. Starting pay is $18.00/hour with overtime required on Fridays as business needs arise.

This role supports efficient logistics operations at the Clayton site. Ideal candidates will have at least 12 months forklift experience, basic computer skills, and familiarity with SAP.

As a Warehouse Associate at Caterpillar, you will:

Supporting logistics, you will perform the material handling and warehousing functions required in the receiving processing, storing, moving, packing and shipping of parts, materials, equipment and supplies at the Clayton, NC facility.

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):

• Willing and able to sit or stand for prolonged periods
• Willing and able to perform repetitive operations
• Willing and able to lift, push and pull up to 35 lbs

Basic Requirements:

• Minimum 12 months of forklift experience on sit-down, stand-up/reach truck or turret truck
• Beginner proficiency in Computer Skills/Microsoft applications

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

• Order Picker Forklift experience (cherry-picker, case-picker)
• Logistics/Warehouse experience
• Experience with Computerized Inventory Management Systems (SAP)

Additional Information:

Shift: 1st Shift

Hours: M-Th 6 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Mandatory overtime on Fridays as business need requires.

Starting pay rate: $18.00/hour

Work location: Clayton, NC

No relocation benefits are available.

Summary Pay Range:

$18.00 - $22.40
