Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Clayton, NC seeks a Warehouse Associate to join our Operations team. You will support logistics, handling, storing, packing and shipping of parts and materials at the Clayton facility, with a 1st shift and overtime as needed.

Starting pay is $18.00/hour, with the potential for overtime and future growth within Caterpillar. The role requires forklift experience and basic computer skills; SAP familiarity a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of forklift experience on sit-down, stand-up/reach truck or turret truck.
• Beginner proficiency in Computer Skills/Microsoft applications.

As a Warehouse Associate at Caterpillar, you will:

Supporting logistics, you will perform the material handling and warehousing functions required in the receiving processing, storing, moving, packing and shipping of parts, materials, equipment and supplies at the Clayton, NC facility.

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):

• Willing and able to sit or stand for prolonged periods
• Willing and able to perform repetitive operations
• Willing and able to lift, push and pull up to 35 lbs

Basic Requirements:

• Minimum 12 months of forklift experience on sit-down, stand-up/reach truck or turret truck

• Order Picker Forklift experience (cherry-picker, case-picker)

Additional Information:

Shift: 1st Shift

Hours: M-Th 6 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Mandatory overtime on Fridays as businessneed requires.

Starting pay rate: $18.00/hour

Work location: Clayton, NC

Summary Pay Range:
