Summary
Under direct supervision, the Warehouse Associate performs all shipping and receiving activities for a Branch location. This role ensures the customer receives the correct items in a timely manner and all stocked merchandise is properly maintained.

Job Duties

1. Receives items in the computer system to show which items are available for customers.
2. Determines which items need to be picked, checked, and shipped from sales orders.
3. Pulls orders accordingly and rechecks them to ensure accuracy.
4. Prepares items for delivery to customers.
5. Secures packages to prevent damage during shipping.
6. Prepares customer returns for shipment back to Distribution Center, Fulfillment Center, or supplier.
7. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to established organization codes.
8. Reports any damaged or substandard inventory to the warehouse supervisor immediately.
9. Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
10. May deliver items to customers and obtain signatures to validate receipt.
11. May process counter sales or invoices for customers.
12. May operate a forklift or similar equipment.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
Typically requires a high school diploma or GED.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Physical Demands
Must be able to move up to 100 lbs and lift up to 50 lbs.

Licenses & Certifications
May need certification to operate a forklift. Valid driver’s license and good driving record required. Company vehicles are under continuous video monitoring.
