Job summary

Richards Building Supply Co. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to help keep inventory organized, process deliveries, and prepare orders for customers.

You will ensure accurate loading, safe handling, and friendly service at the counter, supporting daily warehouse functions with a focus on safety. This role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift 50–100 lbs, and a willingness to work Monday–Friday with overtime during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs regularly and stand for long periods.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive, organize, and manage incoming materials.
• Load trucks safely and efficiently for daily deliveries.
• Pick and prepare orders for customers and deliveries.
• Verify order accuracy and secure loads per DOT standards.
• Provide excellent customer service to walk‑in customers.
• Support shipping and receiving and other warehouse tasks.
• Follow all safety procedures and operate required equipment.
