Job summary

Purvis Industries, LLC. in Casper, WY is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support shipping, receiving, inventory tracking and general shop duties.

You will identify shipments, use our computer system to track parts, prep orders for delivery, pack and ship, and assist with local pickups and deliveries as needed. Candidates should be reliable, able to lift up to 30 pounds, and maintain a clean, organized warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Identify incoming shipments and verify against packing slips.
• Track parts with the computer system and maintain inventory counts.
• Keep project pick lists up to date with received parts.
• Pull products for delivery and check orders for accuracy.
• Pack and ship orders to customers.
• Assist with UPS and motor freight shipments.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse area.
• Assist with local parts pickup and deliveries by driving a company vehicle.
• Support Production and Operations managers as needed.

Warehouse Associate

Our Warehouse Associate is responsible for shipping, receiving, in-town parts pickup and general shop duties. Other tasks include putting items into inventory and keeping track of parts received vs. not received on a per project basis. Good organizational skills and a high attention to detail are a must.

Responsibilities

As a key member of our production staff, you will:

• Identify incoming shipments, compare products received to the packing slip, noting any differences and forward packing slip to Order Processing in a timely manner
• Use our computer system to track incoming parts, fill orders and maintain accurate inventory counts
• Keep project pick lists up to date with parts that have been received
• Pull products based on delivery ticket and double check the order for accuracy
• Pack and ship orders to customers
• Assist with processing UPS and motor freight shipments.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse area
• Assist with local parts pickup and deliveries by driving a company vehicle, as needed
• Assist Production and Operations managers with any other duties, as needed

Driver Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 18 months
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 36 months
• No more than 1 at fault accident with bodily injury in the past 3 years
