Job summary

Purvis Industries in Casper, WY is hiring a Warehouse Associate to handle shipping, receiving, inventory control, and local parts pickup in a fast-paced shop environment.

You will identify incoming shipments, track parts with our computer system, maintain accurate counts, pull orders, pack and ship, and assist with unloading and deliveries as needed. A strong work ethic and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Lift product up to 30 pounds.
• Walk or stand for extended periods.
• Dependability and reliability a must.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify incoming shipments, compare products received to the packing slip, noting any differences and forward packing slip to Order Processing in a timely manner.
• Use our computer system to track incoming parts, fill orders and maintain accurate inventory counts
• Keep project pick lists up to date with parts that have been received
• Pull products based on delivery ticket and double check the order for accuracy
• Pack and ship orders to customers
• Assist with processing UPS and motor freight shipments.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse area
• Assist with local parts pickup and deliveries by driving a company vehicle, as needed
• Assist Production and Operations managers with any other duties, as needed
