PrideStaff has an excellent Temp to Hire opportunity in Oceanside, CA

Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm

Position: Warehouse Associate

Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Use of the UPS Manifest System
2. Training on and performing barcode-related functions
3. Filling orders
4. Breaking down large lots into smaller boxes
5. Operating related warehouse tools and machinery
6. Maintaining warehouse cleanliness
7. Receiving parts into the computer system
8. Billing processes
9. Storing future orders and preparing them for shipment
10. Creating labels for packages to ensure correct delivery
11. Packaging goods appropriately for distribution
12. Resolving issues related to missing parts
13. Labeling all parts accurately for customers and stock
14. Following QC Book and Procedures in all duties
15. Addressing safety concerns with management
16. Training new employees as directed by Warehouse Manager
17. Performing cycle counts and data entry

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a warehouse worker
• Knowledge of modern warehousing practices
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Adherence to safety practices
• Knowledge of building materials
• Ability to work in a team environment and interact with customers
• Current forklift license/certification; prior forklift safety certifications preferred
