PrideStaff has an excellent Temp to Hire opportunity in Oceanside, CA

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

Position: Warehouse Associate

Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. The use of the UPS Manifest System
2. Be trained on/know functions pertaining to the barcode process
3. Filling orders
4. Breaking down large lots into smaller boxes
5. Using related warehouse tools and machinery
6. Maintaining general cleanliness of the warehouse
7. Receiving parts on the computer
8. Billing
9. Putting away future orders and pulling them when ready to ship
10. Making labels for packages to ensure correct delivery
11. Packaging goods distributed by HS
12. Solving problems for missing parts
13. Properly labeling all parts for customers and stock
14. Carrying out duties in accordance with the QC Book and Procedures
15. Resolving safety issues with the manager
16. Training new employees as directed by the Warehouse Manager
17. Performing cycle counts and data entry of cycles

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a warehouse worker
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Adherence to safety practices
• Knowledge of building materials
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that interacts directly with customers
• Current forklift operator license/certification; prior certifications in forklift driving/safety preferred
• Commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure and handle difficult situations
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment
