Grainger’s distribution center in Mira Loma, CA is seeking a Distribution Center Associate. You will handle inbound and outbound warehouse tasks, join a safety-focused team, and report to a DC Supervisor or Process Manager. The role starts at $22 per hour with planned increases to $23.20 and an additional $1 per hour for PIE operator duties.

Expect day shifts Mon-Fri with start times around 8:45–9:45 am. This is a hands-on role emphasizing accuracy, safety and teamwork in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Ability to work in a team and follow safety guidelines.
• For PIE operators: operate Crown, Pacer, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Barrett and Turret Truck.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform inbound and outbound warehouse tasks, including unloading, sorting, labeling, replenishing, auditing, and packing.
• Ensure accurate packing and shipping to meet quality and delivery expectations.
• Adhere to safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and overtime requirements as needed.
• Operate scanning equipment and maintain a clean, safe work area per OSHA and hazardous materials standards.
• Assist leadership with assigned tasks and work effectively in a team setting.
• Maintain efficient collaboration with colleagues to support operations.

Position Summary

Distribution Center Associate – support inbound and outbound warehouse tasks at Grainger’s distribution center in Mira Loma, CA. Will report to a DC Supervisor or Process Manager.

Compensation

Hourly; starting at $22 per hour with projected increases to $23.20 per hour over 12 months. Additional + $1 per hour for powered industrial equipment operators.

• Day shift: Monday–Friday; 8:45 am or 9:45 am start time

The rate of pay provided above is not a guarantee of compensation. The rate reflects the expected base pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position.

• Ensure products are packed and shipped correctly to exceed customer expectations for quality and delivery speed
• Meet safety, quality, productivity, behavior, attendance, and overtime requirements as needed
• Operate computerized scanning equipment and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and hazardous material requirements
• Perform other tasks as directed by the leadership team
• Work effectively in a team environment

Qualifications

• Comfortable working on feet with exposure to heat, cold, noise, dust; working around moving equipment and elevated stations
• High school diploma or equivalent; at least 18 years of age
• Ability to frequently lift, slide and lower packages up to 75 pounds
• Pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check
• Accept and respond well to feedback in a team environment
• For PIE operators: operate warehouse vehicles, material handling equipment and powered industrial equipment, including Crown, Pacer, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Barrett and Turret Truck
