Job summary

Hearts for the Homeless in Buffalo, NY is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to unload donations, stock pallets, and keep the warehouse running safely and efficiently.

No forklift experience required at start—we will provide training. This full-time, in-person role offers day shifts, steady hours, and the chance to contribute to a mission-driven organization.

Responsibilities

• Unload donations from trucks
• Safely move and organize pallets and materials throughout the warehouse
• Learn to operate a forklift to move bales, pallets, and other materials
• Create bales throughout the day
• Organize and maintain warehouse inventory
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized
• Work as part of a team to keep daily operations running smoothly
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Complete required electronic documentation
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Shift:Monday - Friday with Saturday availability - Day Shift

Pay:$18.00 to $20.00 an hour

Location:Buffalo, NY

Hearts for the Homeless is looking for a dependable Warehouse Associate to join our team!

This is a hands-on, fast-paced warehouse position where you'll help unload donations, organize materials, create bales, and keep our warehouse running safely and efficiently.

No forklift experience? That's okay! Forklift experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidate and provide the training needed to operate the equipment safely.

What You'll Do

• Unload donations from trucks
• Safely move and organize pallets and materials throughout the warehouse
• Learn to operate a forklift to move bales, pallets, and other materials
• Create bales throughout the day
• Organize and maintain warehouse inventory
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized

Physical Requirements

This is an active warehouse position. You should be comfortable with:

• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Lifting items up to 50 pounds
• Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and handling materials
• Working in a warehouse environment that may be dusty, noisy, wet, or subject to changing conditions
