PeopleReady of Goodyear, AZ is now hiring Warehouse Associates in Buckeye, AZ. As a Warehouse Associate, you will pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with teammates to meet daily deadlines.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks onto a pallet in a tie-high pallet formation.
• Lift products, shrink wrap, and palletize pallets in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift, handle, and carry boxes up to 75 pounds.
• Stand on your feet for 10-12 hours, reach overhead, twist, turn, and squat.
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace throughout the shift.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork.
• Ability to work in cold and hot temperatures.
• Coordinate moving varied bilateral hand and foot controls quickly.
• Read and understand standard operating procedures and labels.
• Ensure safety signals and alarms are observed.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $16.50 - $16.50 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Warehouse Associate:

• Load trucks onto a pallet in a tie-high pallet formation

• Lift products, shrink wrap, and palletize pallets in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to lift, handle, and carry boxes up to 75 pounds

• Stand on your feet for at least 10-12 hours, reach overhead, twist, turn, and squat throughout the shift

• Maintain a safe and clean workspace throughout the duration of your shift

• Strong communication skills and teamwork

• Ability to work while being exposed to cold temperatures in the winter and hot temperatures in the summer

• Ability to lift parts weighing up to 75 lbs. without powered equipment assistance

• Visual capacity to clearly recognize, read, and understand standard operating procedures, signs, part number labels, and instructions

• Ability to see/hear and distinguish sounds and signs that alert, instruct, or notify one of danger, such as warning signs, horns, alarms, speech, and vehicular/pedestrian traffic

• Ability to coordinate the maneuvering of varied bilateral hand and foot controls at a rapid pace
