Job summary

MWI Veterinary Supply Company, part of the Cencora family, seeks a Warehouse Associate to support storage, packaging, and shipment activities in a climate-controlled facility.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and up to 1 year of warehouse experience. You will work a full-time shift from Monday to Friday with afternoon start times and possible overtime, employing RF scanning gear to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

• Monitors temperature-sensitive materials during storage and shipment preparation.
• Updates warehouse transactions, inventory records, and shipment documentation.
• Identifies on-hold, damaged, or non-conforming materials and routes them appropriately.
• Coordinates material movement using approved warehouse equipment.
• Prepares packaging materials and shipment areas for outbound activity.
• Escalates non-standard handling or inventory issues for follow-up.

Job Details Responsibilities:

• Monitors temperature-sensitive materials during storage and shipment preparation to help preserve required conditions.
• Updates warehouse transactions, inventory records, and shipment documentation to maintain traceability and control.
• Identifies on-hold, damaged, or non-conforming materials and routes them through defined handling procedures.
• Coordinates material movement using approved warehouse equipment to support safe and efficient flow.
• Prepares packaging materials and shipment areas to support timely outbound activity.
• Escalates non-standard handling or inventory issues to support timely follow-up.

Shift Details:

Full Time | Monday 1pm-finish Tuesday-Thursday 2pm-finish, Friday 1pm-finish

Pay Details:

$20.30/hr with shift differential when applicable

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Work Experience:

Some Warehouse or Distribution experience preferred (1 year or less)

Skills and knowledge:

• Able to work in climate-controlled facility.
• Ability to read and understand the English language.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting distribution standards.
• Motivated, hard-working and dependable; attendance and punctuality are very important.
• Able to work the shift hours listed above, plus overtime. (Overtime in most Distribution Centers is mandatory to enable real-time delivery)
• Able to perform repetitive and manual tasks on a consistent basis.
• Able to work with RF scanning equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively; products vary in weight and size
• Comfortable walking up to 8 miles per shift (steps vary by role and shift)
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
