Job summary

Cencora in Indiana is seeking a warehouse associate to monitor temperature-sensitive materials and support timely outbound shipment activities.

You will update inventory records, identify non-conforming items, and coordinate material movement using warehouse equipment. Applicants should have a high school diploma and up to 2 years’ experience; CSCP is a plus and opportunities for pay growth exist.

Qualifications

This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business.

Shift Details

Monday - Friday 7:00am - Finish

Pay Details

Pay starting at $19.00/hr with potential for up to $21.00/hr based on a variety of earning opportunities including shift differentials, performance incentives, and referral bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Monitors temperature-sensitive materials during storage and shipment preparation to help preserve required conditions.
• Updates warehouse transactions, inventory records, and shipment documentation to maintain traceability and control.
• Identifies on-hold, damaged, or non-conforming materials and routes them through defined handling procedures.
• Coordinates material movement using approved warehouse equipment to support safe and efficient flow.
• Prepares packaging materials and shipment areas to support timely outbound activity.
• Escalates non-standard handling or inventory issues to support timely follow-up.

Education

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience

Less than 2 years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field required.

Preferred Certifications

Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or equivalent certification preferred.

Skills and Knowledge

• Knowledge in warehouse operations processes, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging, and shipping.
• Knowledge in inventory control principles, stock movement tracking, and material traceability requirements.
• Knowledge in temperature-controlled handling and cold chain support requirements for sensitive products and materials.
• Knowledge in packaging materials, reusable shipping assets, and replenishment practices within warehouse operations.
• Knowledge in shipment documentation, operational recordkeeping, and transaction processing requirements.
• Knowledge in safe material handling practices and the use of warehouse equipment and tools.

Ability to

• Follow established warehouse procedures and standardized work instructions.
• Maintain accurate records and update operational information in warehouse systems and logs.
• Identify inventory, packaging, shipment, and material handling exceptions for further action.
• Support timely and accurate order preparation and material movement activities.
• Manage multiple routine tasks across warehouse workflows while maintaining accuracy.
• Work with temperature-sensitive materials in line with defined handling requirements.
