Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Warehouse Associate in North Carolina to support distribution operations in a climate-controlled facility. You will perform packaging, inventory updates, and ensure accurate shipment documentation while meeting quality standards. Full-time role, Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week.

Candidates with 1 year or less of warehouse experience encouraged. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, read English, and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred (1 year or less).
• Ability to read and understand English and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor temperature-sensitive materials during storage and shipment preparation.
• Update warehouse transactions, inventory records, and shipment documentation.
• Identify on-hold, damaged, or non-conforming materials and route them per procedures.
• Coordinate material movement using approved warehouse equipment.
• Prepare packaging materials and shipment areas for outbound activity.
• Escalate non-standard handling or inventory issues for follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Monitors temperature-sensitive materials during storage and shipment preparation to help preserve required conditions.
• Updates warehouse transactions, inventory records, and shipment documentation to maintain traceability and control.
• Identifies on-hold, damaged, or non-conforming materials and routes them through defined handling procedures.
• Coordinates material movement using approved warehouse equipment to support safe and efficient flow.
• Prepares packaging materials and shipment areas to support timely outbound activity.
• Escalates non-standard handling or inventory issues to support timely follow-up.

Shift Details

Full Time | Monday - Friday

Pay Details

$20.30/hr with shift differential when applicable

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Work Experience

• Some Warehouse or Distribution experience preferred (1 year or less)

Skills and Knowledge

• Able to work in climate-controlled facility.
• Ability to read and understand the English language.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting distribution standards.
• Motivated, hard-working and dependable; attendance and punctuality are very important.
• Able to work the shift hours listed above, plus overtime. (Overtime in most Distribution Centers is mandatory to enable real-time delivery)
• Able to perform repetitive and manual tasks on a consistent basis.
• Able to work with RF scanning equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively; products vary in weight and size.
• Comfortable walking up to 8 miles per shift (steps vary by role and shift).
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
