Job summary

California Closets in Brisbane, CA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to unload shipments, inspect products for damage, and prepare stock for inventory. You’ll enter data into our systems and support receiving processes on a day shift.

This role offers paid on-the-job training, opportunities for advancement, health benefits, and a 21–24 USD hourly pay range. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate basic warehouse equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic math and organizational skills.
• Experience with inventory management in a warehouse.
• Ability to stand for a full shift and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Forklift certification is a plus; forklift experience preferred.

Job Description

Our Warehouse Associates unload and unpack shipments of custom cabinetry products and hardware, inspect for damage and correct quantities, report damages or shortages, and enter receiving data into our company database. This position will also prepare and organize received stock for inventory, return damaged products to senders, and monitor inventory levels. We will provide paid, on-the-job training to candidates with the right skill set and a great attitude!

Job Highlight

• The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 5:45AM-2:15PM
• The pay rate for this position is $21/hr-$24/hr
• For some locations, a valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a clean driving record is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Basic math and organization skills
• Inventory management experience
• Ability to work on feet for an entire shift
• Understanding of safety protocols and requirements
• Forklift certification is a plus
• Experience shipping, receiving, or working in a warehouse is a plus
• Experience working with woodworking machines (saw, router, drill press) is a plus
• Able to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch
