Job summary

General Air Service & Supply in Boulder, CO is seeking a Warehouse Associate to manage gases and hardgoods, ship/receive products, and support inventory activities at the Boulder store.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, processing shipments, and assisting Inside Sales when needed. Excellent organizational skills and basic computer proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory of cylinders, dewars, and hardgoods.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
• Receive shipments and process promptly.
• Prepare and process shipping/receiving paperwork.
• Pull customer orders and ensure accuracy.
• Provide customer service to internal and external customers.
• Operate forklift as needed.
• Price, barcode, and stock merchandise.
• Clean and stock shelves, counters, and tables.
• Process sales transactions and accept payments.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Position Description

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for managing gases and hardgoods in the store and on route trucks. They will also be involved in shipping and receiving products that enter the warehouse and, when necessary, will assist Inside Sales. This role requires excellent organizational skills, knowledge of warehouse operations and processes, and the ability to work efficiently with computer systems while maintaining strong customer relations.

Your Day-to-Day

• Inventory management of cylinders, dewars, and hardgoods
• Assist in loading and unloading of trucks
• Receive shipments and process in a timely manner
• Prepare and process shipping and receiving paperwork
• Pull orders for customers
• Customer service for both internal and external customers
• Operate forklift
• Price, bar code, and stock merchandise
• Clean and stock shelves, counters, and tables
• Compute sales pricing, finalize purchases, receive/process cash or credit payments
• Other duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Team

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Customer Service Experience
• Warehouse experience or knowledge preferred
• Excellent time management/organizational skills
• Work independently and with others
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills i.e., Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Office
• Be able to stand on your feet 7 to 8 hours a day with lots of walking, twisting, bending, reaching, pushing/pulling, grasping, sitting and repetitive motions
• Frequent lifting of 10-20lbs is required, may at times lift up to 75lbs
