Job summary

General Air Service & Supply is seeking an Inside Sales candidate for our Denver showroom. The role focuses on assisting customers, describing product use, and processing sales. A friendly, sales-minded approach and strong communication are essential.

Position is full-time in-store, with duties including opening/closing, cash handling, stocking, and assisting customers with welding equipment knowledge.

Qualifications

• Open and close the store, counting money and balancing cash drawers.
• Describe and explain use, safe operation, and care of merchandise to customers.
• Compute sales pricing, finalize purchases, receive/process cash or credit payments.
• Price, bar code, and stock merchandise.
• Frequent lifting of 10-20lbs, may up to 75lbs.

Salary Range: $23.98 - $24.48 Hourly

Inside Sales

Position Description

We're looking for a friendly, outgoing individual who will be responsible for serving customers that come into the showroom. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, knowledge of welding equipment and processes, is familiar with computer systems, and has a sales mentality.

Your Day-to-Day

• Open and closing the store, counting money and balancing cash drawers
• Stay up to date with current sales, promotions, and policies regarding payment and exchanges
• Recommend merchandise based upon customer needs and desires
• Describe and explain use, safe operation, and care of merchandise to customers
• Price, bar code, and stock merchandise
• Clean and stock shelves, counters, and tables
• Compute sales pricing, finalize purchases, receive/process cash or credit payments
• Other duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Team

• Welding experience or knowledge preferred
• Retail sales experienced preferred
• Excellent time management/organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong team player
• Work independently and with others
• Customer service experience
• Self-motivated
• Basic computer skills i.e., Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Office
• Be able to stand on your feet 7 to 8 hours a day with lots of walking, twisting, bending, reaching, pushing/pulling, grasping, sitting and repetitive motions
• Frequent lifting of 10-20lbs is required, may at times lift up to 75lbs
