Job summary

Continental Services in Jackson, MI, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, pick and pack orders, load and unload trucks, and maintain inventory accuracy using an iPad and the LightSpeed system.

You will work Sunday to Thursday, 2 PM until done, with starting pay $18 per hour and a $1 per hour premium after 4 PM and on Sundays. A High School Diploma or GED and basic math skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English.
• Comfortable using technology (iPads, inventory systems).
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack orders using technology (iPad, LightSpeed).
• Organize and maintain inventory using FIFO method.
• Load and unload trucks for routes and markets.
• Replenish stock and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Read schedules, work orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved.
• Communicate inventory discrepancies to team leaders.
• Record accurate inventory counts of products picked, packed, scrapped, and excess.
• Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines.

The Experience You'll Create:

The Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in ensuring smooth daily warehouse operations.

Compensation

• Starting Pay: $18.00/hour
• +$1.00/hour after 4 PM & on Sundays

Shift: Sunday - Thursday 2 PM until done

• Accurately pick and pack orders using technology (e.g., iPad, LightSpeed system).
• Organize and maintain inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
• Load and unload trucks for routes and markets.
• Replenish stock and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Read schedules, work orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved or distributed.
• Communicate inventory discrepancies to team leaders.
• Record accurate inventory counts of products picked, packed, scrapped, and excess.
• Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Ingredients for Thriving:

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English.
• Comfortable using technology (iPads, inventory systems).

• Ability to operate or willingness to learn electric pallet jack; forklift certification encouraged.
