Looking for a cool job in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team representing the industry leader in HVAC equipment? The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the day-to-day warehouse operations, including order picking and verification, loading and unloading products, and inventory control using state-of-the-art technology. The primary goal is to procure, process, and dispatch products to customers and vendors for our established wholesale HVAC distributorships.

Responsibilities

1. Daily loading and unloading of products.
2. Receive, inspect, and stock all merchandise.
3. Verify received items against orders for accuracy.
4. Pick and verify customer orders and prepare shipments.
5. Maintain daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance.
6. Use and maintain OF device appropriately.
7. Assist with physical inventory and control.
8. Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, and requisitions to determine items to move, gather, or ship.
9. Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
10. Keep grounds and warehouse neat, orderly, and safe.
11. Adhere to all safety requirements and wear appropriate PPE.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment.
• Effective communication skills and ability to provide superior service.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to learn and grow with the company.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 months warehouse experience, including forklift operation.
• Knowledge of HVAC and truckload logistics is a plus.

Education Requirements

• High School diploma or GED minimum.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays. Extra hours may be required.

Physical Demands

• Sedentary to heavy lifting, mostly constant.
• Frequent desk, computer, and telephone use.
• Constant operation of warehouse equipment and forklift.
• Occasional talking, driving, and visiting customers.
• Constant use of OF device/technology.
