The Driver/Warehouse Associate is responsible for inventory management and the daily delivery of HVAC freight and materials. The ultimate goal of this role is to procure, process, dispatch, and deliver/transport products to customers and vendors for one of our established wholesale HVAC distributorships.
Qualifications
- Minimum 24 months of verifiable experience driving a 16’ minimum box truck or stake bed truck.
- Ability to multi-task and work within daily deadlines.
- Knowledge of common carrier (LTL) and full truckload logistics.
- Effective communication skills with customers and providing superior service.
- A willingness to learn and grow with our company.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- 6 months warehouse experience including forklift operation preferred.
Work Schedule
Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays. Extra hours may be required.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Daily loading and unloading of products.
- Assist with delivering and transporting HVAC freight and materials to customers.
- Receive, inspect, and stock all merchandise.
- Verify all items received against items ordered for accuracy.
- Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as needed.
- Collect invoices with proper signatures and return them to the Sales Center Manager.
- Responsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance and reporting in/out times with merchandise returns.
- Use and maintain OF device appropriately.
- Assist with physical inventory and inventory control.
- Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
- Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
- Ensure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customer traffic.
- Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to job duties.
- Wear appropriate PPE.
In addition, the individual is accountable for all other duties as assigned.
