Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support receipt, storage and shipment of products. You will operate powered industrial trucks, wrap pallets and perform basic stocking tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1-2 years experience optional, and basic MS Office. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, HSA, 401k and more; schedule starts at 5:30AM and continues to completion of work.

• Experience in warehouse operations or similar environment a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Operate automated pallet wrapping machine.
• Aisle audits and shipment processing.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards.
• Follow documentation practices and achieve quality targets.
• Other duties as assigned.

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Operation of Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT), to include pallet jacks, clamp trucks, sit down forklifts, reach trucks, and other forms of equipment as necessary to perform duties such as unloading freight, order picking, pallet load-out, and stock put away
• Operation of automated pallet wrapping machine
• Aisle Audits
• Processing Small Package shipments
• Manual wrapping of pallets with shrink wrap
• Maintain/Improve Housekeeping standards
• Assembly of corrugate Gaylords and manual banding of shipments
• Follow proper documentation practices
• Meet or exceed standards for quality, safety, attendance, and productivity
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• 1-2 years of experience preferred
• Good written communication skills preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft office preferred
