Northern Sales Company, a trusted name in distribution for over 60 years, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our Anchorage, AK team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment for our customers. This position offers a stable, full-time schedule in a supportive environment where employees are encouraged to grow and succeed. Schedule

• Typical schedule is Mon, Tues, Thu, Fri, and Sat from 09:00 am to 05:30 pm or until duties are completed. Days off are Sun & Wed. May include overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate an order picker forklift to accurately pull customer orders in both dry and cold warehouse environments (temperatures as low as 10°F).
• Sort and stage customer orders for next-day delivery, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist with replenishing warehouse stock as needed.
• Report any discrepancies or damaged merchandise to the Warehouse Operations Manager.
• Adapt to changing priorities to meet daily deadlines and complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience operating forklifts and working in warehouse distribution preferred; willingness to learn is welcome.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety rules and forklift operation, or willingness to be trained.
• Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and sound judgment.
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.

Compensation

$18.00 per hour
