Job summary

Accelera in Anaheim is seeking a reliable Warehouse / Material Handler to support daily production and warehouse operations at our protein manufacturing facility. You will package finished protein products, handle raw materials, maintain inventory flow, and ensure compliance with food safety and GMP standards.

The role requires experience in food manufacturing or warehouse environments, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to work in cold storage.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in food production, protein processing, or warehouse environment.
• Experience in cold storage or refrigerated environments preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently.
• Stand for 8–10 hour shifts.
• Basic math for counting, weighing, labeling.
• PPE required on production floor.

Responsibilities

• Package protein products according to company specifications.
• Label, weigh, and seal products to meet requirements.
• Inspect finished goods for quality and packaging integrity.
• Maintain production speed with accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in staging product for shipment.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished goods.
• Move materials between production, cold storage and warehouse areas.
• Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts if certified.
• Stack, wrap and prepare pallets for shipment.
• Maintain counts and assist with cycle counts or inventory audits.

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse / Material Handler to support daily production and warehouse operations for a protein manufacturing facility in Anaheim. This role is responsible for accurately packaging finished protein products, handling raw materials, maintaining inventory flow, and ensuring compliance with food safety and GMP standards. The ideal candidate has experience in food manufacturing, cold storage, or warehouse environments and understands the importance of quality, accuracy, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Packing

• Package protein products (raw, cooked, frozen, or processed) according to company specifications.
• Label, weigh, and seal products accurately to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
• Inspect finished goods for quality, proper labeling, and packaging integrity.
• Maintain production speed while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in staging product for shipment.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished goods.
• Move materials between production, cold storage, and warehouse areas.
• Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (if certified).
• Stack, wrap, and prepare pallets for shipment.
• Maintain accurate counts and assist with cycle counts or inventory audits.

Compliance & Safety

• Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP, and food safety regulations.
• Adhere to sanitation procedures and maintain clean work areas.
• Comply with OSHA safety standards and company policies.
• Properly use PPE including gloves, hair nets, beard nets, and freezer gear when required.
• Report any product quality or safety concerns immediately.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in food production, protein processing, or warehouse environment preferred.
• Experience working in cold storage or refrigerated environments (preferred).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently.
• Ability to stand for long periods (8–10 hour shifts).
• Basic math skills for counting, weighing, and labeling.
• Forklift certification (preferred but not required).
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• PPE required at all times on production floor.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting, bending, reaching, and standing.
• Ability to work in cold environments.
• Ability to meet production quotas safely and efficiently.
