Shyft6 is seeking a reliable Food Production Associate to support accurate preparation of ingredients for our production lines. The role emphasizes food safety, quality, accuracy, cleanliness, and productivity in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include weighing, labeling, documenting lot numbers, following GMP/HACCP procedures, and maintaining a safe workspace. Training and teamwork are encouraged to uphold high standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic math, computer, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Accurately document lot numbers, weights, and labels to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Follow all food safety, GMP, allergen control, and HACCP procedures as applicable.
• Minimize waste and prevent foreign material contamination during ingredient preparation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area using Clean-as-You-Go practices.
• Safely operate pallet jacks, production equipment, and knives as required.
• Complete required production and food safety documentation accurately.
• Meet individual production and performance goals (KPIs).
• Participate in required training and assist with training new team members when needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership.

Physical & Work Environment

• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Work in cold, wet, and/or humid conditions, including areas around 38°F or below.
• Exposure to moving equipment and moderate noise.
