Job summary

National Roofing Co. Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our Albuquerque, NM operation. You will perform cycle counts, manage inventory, load and deliver materials, and support a safe, organized yard and shop.

The role requires 1–3 years in warehousing, ability to lift 35–100 lbs, and a valid driver’s license. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; OSHA compliance is expected. We offer benefits and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse, inventory, or similar role.
• Physically able to perform required tasks.
• OSHA rules and company policies must be followed.
• Familiarity with roofing materials preferred.
• Reading and writing skills are required.
• Strong verbal and written communication; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Able to lift 35–100 lbs and pass pre-hire screening.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid license.

Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct daily cycle counts and prepare inventory reports (balance and shortage lists)
• Pull, organize, deliver, pick up, and distribute materials, tools, and supplies
• Load/offload materials returning from job sites or delivered to the yard
• Deliver materials to job sites as needed
• Maintain organized storage and maximize yard/shop spaces efficiency
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse and yard environment
• Properly dispose of hazardous products in compliance with safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with project managers, estimators, and other departments
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
• General yard/shop maintenance and cleaning
• Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines
• Write down returns and put material away when unloaded from dump trucks or cranes

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse, inventory, or similar role
• Physically able to do the required work.
• Comply with OSHA and Company rules and regulations.
• Familiarity with roofing materials is preferred
• Knowledge of basic reading & writing skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team
• Creative problem solving skills and a positive work ethic
• Ability to follow directions.
• Available to work occasional overtime and one Saturday per month
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting 35 – 100 lbs., climbing, and stooping
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.
• Able to drive standard/manual
• Must be able to pass a pre-hire criminal background check & drug screening.
