Job summary

Advanced Roofing, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to manage daily operations at our Fort Lauderdale site. You will supervise staff, coordinate material flow, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities include inventory accuracy, forklift operations, and collaboration with roofing and HVAC crews. Strong leadership, reliability, and the ability to lift 100 lbs are essential for success. Knowledge of WMS and MS Office is a plus.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 3 years warehouse experience.
  • At least 1 year in supervisory role.
  • Experience handling roofing and HVAC materials.
  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • Able to lift 100 lbs.

  • Lead daily huddles to review schedules, safety, and workflow.
  • Oversee inventory control, cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation.
  • Maintain 98% inventory accuracy through monitoring and controls.
  • Coordinate repairs and report maintenance needs to the Fleet & Equipment team.
  • Enforce safety procedures and OSHA compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff on operations, safety, and equipment use
  • Lead daily huddles to review schedules, safety, and workflow
  • Oversee inventory control, cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation
  • Maintain 98% inventory accuracy through consistent monitoring and controls
  • Track expiration-sensitive materials and communicate usage priorities
  • Ensure pick lists are completed accurately and materials are loaded/unloaded safely
  • Communicate with construction teams to coordinate material needs
  • Audit receiving procedures and inspect incoming goods for accuracy and quality
  • Operate and oversee forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
  • Ensure warehouse and facility remain clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant
  • Coordinate repairs and report maintenance needs to the Fleet & Equipment team
  • Enforce safety procedures and compliance with OSHA, state, and federal regulations
Skills, Experience, and Knowledge Required
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Technical training, certifications, or college degree (preferred)
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience (required)
  • At least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role (required)
  • Experience handling roofing and HVAC materials (required)
  • Previous construction industry experience (preferred)
  • Forklift certification (preferred)
Skills & Requirements
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
  • Successful Pre-Employment Drug and Agility tests.
  • Ability to lift 100 LBS or more.
  • Successful Background Check.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and warehouse management systems.
  • Ability to conduct accurate inventory counts and maintain high accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
  • Strong work ethic, self‑motivation, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to pass a background check and maintain a drug‑free culture.
