Job summary

PSI is seeking a warehouse associate to prepare packaging and distribution, verify receipt of delivered goods, and support daily warehouse operations in a cGMP setting.

Responsibilities include labeling, packing, assembling orders, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and loading trucks while ensuring accuracy and compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certification (industrial powered) is required or obtainable.
• English language literacy and basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to apply written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Package, label, and wrap goods for shipment on a daily basis.
• Distribute raw materials, finished goods, and supplies for production.
• Operate forklift, pallet-jack, and related equipment as needed.
• Load trucks according to delivery times and verify orders.
• Sign for shipments and inspect for contamination or damage.

Job description

The primary role of this position is to prepare packaging and distribution, properly authorize receipt of delivered goods, and support the warehouse operations duties.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Supports warehouse activities in a cGMP facility such as distributing raw materials, finished goods, equipment, and supplies for production and plant operations.
• Packages, labels, and wraps goods for appropriate shipment on a daily basis.
• Assembles goods into boxes, bags and other containers and assembles orders according to proper destinations.
• Operates forklift, barrel cart, 2 wheel cart, pallet-jack, and electric pallet-jack as needed.
• Loads trucks according to delivery times and dates.
• Assures orders and documentation received by designated customer are accurate.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures.
• Be able to sign for shipments delivered and inspect for any contamination or damage according to cGMP standards and record appropriately.
• Must be able to fully operate usable functions in PSI Internal Technology System

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving parts and vibrations. The noise level in the work environment can be from moderate to loud.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job.

• This position is very active and requires standing, walking bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds, some of which may be heavy or awkward.

USUAL WORKING HOURS

• Monday – Thursday; 12:00pm to 10:30pm
• Limited shift flexibility is possible.
• Capability to work extended hours if necessary.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or equivalent.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

• Mathematical skills- Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Language skills- must be able to read, record and speak the English language.
• Reasoning ability- must have the ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram form.
• Certifications, Licenses, Registrations- must be able to obtain an industrial powered forklift certification.
• Must have clear vision from twenty inches to twenty feet and must be able to identify and distinguish colors.
