Job summary

Arnoff Moving and Storage is seeking a reliable Warehouse Assistant to support fulfillment operations in Malta, NY. You will pick, pack, and ship orders, run inventory counts, and communicate with customers using email and phone.

This full-time role runs 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday, with on-call rotation that offers additional pay. Training on forklifts and pallet jacks is provided, and benefits include health, PTO, holidays, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation.
• Forklift or powered equipment experience.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship fulfillment orders.
• Unload inbound shipments and put stock away.

Arnoff Moving and Storage is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to support our customers' fulfillment operations. You'll be a key part of how they get their product out the door, and your work will make a visible difference to them.

About the on-call rotation
This role includes the opportunity to join our emergency fulfillment rotation, which covers Friday 5:00 pm through Monday 7:00 am. Rotations are one week at a time, currently one week out of every four, and you're paid extra during your on-call week. Emergency orders need to be filled within one hour of the call, and the weekly average is about 5 call-outs, so you'll need to live within a reasonable drive.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience
• A good safety record and strong organizational skills
• Basic math skills and comfort with email, spreadsheets and Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Reliable transportation (required)
• Forklift or powered equipment experience
• Previous experience with warehouse management software
