Job summary

Arnoff Moving & Storage is seeking a Warehouse Assistant in Malta, NY to support fulfillment operations. The role starts at 11:00 am with a Monday–Friday schedule, offering full-time hours and paid training on forklifts and electric pallet jacks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship fulfillment orders accurately and on time.
• Receive and store incoming inventory and load outbound shipments.
• Keep stock organized and inventory accurate per procedures.
• Operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks (training provided).
• Use handheld scanners and WMS to track orders and pallets.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.

Salary Range: $18.00 To $22.00 Hourly

Arnoff Moving & Storage, a prominent 102-year-old logistics company in the Northeast, is seeking a Warehouse Assistant- Fulfillment Service Location for our Malta location.

Tired of 5 am alarms? Our shift starts at 11:00 am, so you can sleep in, take care of your morning, and still get a full week.

What you'll do

• Pick, pack, and ship fulfillment orders accurately and on time for our customers
• Receive and put away incoming inventory, and load outbound shipments
• Keep stock organized and inventory accurate by following our standard procedures
• Operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks (we'll train you)
• Use handheld scanners and the WMS to track every order and pallet
• Help keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized

About the on-call rotation

This role includes the opportunity to join our emergency fulfillment rotation, which covers Saturday 5:00 pm through Monday 7:00 am. Rotations are one week at a time, currently one week out of every four, and you're paid extra during your on-call week. Emergency orders need to be filled within one hour of the call, and the weekly average is about 5 call-out order fulfillments, so you'll need to live within a reasonable drive.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience
• A good safety record and strong organizational habits
• Basic math skills and comfort with email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Forklift or powered equipment experience
• Previous experience with warehouse management software
