Job summary

Convoy of Hope is seeking a Warehouse Assistant in Springfield, MO. The role focuses on receiving, storing, and dispatching goods, while maintaining sanitation and safety across the warehouse.

You will operate forklifts, ensure inventory accuracy, and support Hands of Hope volunteer events. A high school diploma, warehouse experience, forklift certification, and a MO driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse setting is required.
• Forklift certification and prior forklift experience is required.
• A current Missouri driver's license is required.
• Demonstrates the ability to use a computer for basic data entry. Experience using Warehouse Management Systems is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times frequently.
• Must be able to traverse warehouse areas quickly.
• Must be able to stand, bend, crawl, stretch, lay, and squat to maintain equipment.
• Attends and actively participates in Convoy of Hope At Home Week meetings and activities as a required responsibility to the organization and fellow team members.
• Serves as an advocate for the ministry, striving to nurture, broaden, and develop financial and other resource opportunities to support and expand organizational and program ministry.

Responsibilities

• Performs all other duties as assigned.
