Job summary

Role Description

The Warehouse Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Omaha, NE. This role is responsible for receiving, unpacking, and organizing safety supplies and equipment, as well as preparing orders for shipment through accurate packing and labeling. The Warehouse Assistant will maintain inventory records, assist with stock counts, and support inventory management processes to ensure products are readily available and correctly stored. Daily tasks may include operating forklifts or other material-handling equipment, staging rental attachments, and ensuring the warehouse remains clean, safe, and efficient. The role also involves collaborating with team members and providing courteous, professional support to internal staff and customers when needed.

Qualifications

• Inventory skills, including Inventory Control and Inventory Management, to accurately track stock and support order fulfillment.
• Material handling skills, such as Packing and Forklift Operation, to safely prepare, move, and store products and rental equipment.
• Customer-facing skills, including Customer Service, to respond to inquiries, support order pick-ups, and communicate clearly with team members and clients.
• Ability to lift and move materials safely, follow warehouse safety procedures, and use basic hand tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and time management skills in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or equipment rental is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to obtain or maintain a forklift certification and adhere to all workplace safety standards.
