The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the warehouse by efficiently handling inventory, processing orders, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Key responsibilities include operating forklifts, filling orders, building skids, handling materials, and ensuring products are consolidated and received accurately.
Essential Duties and Other Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, stack, and retrieve items as required.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to shipping instructions, ensuring that all items are included and correctly prepared for delivery.
- Construct and organize skids to efficiently store and transport products, ensuring stability and safety.
- Move materials and products to and from various locations within the warehouse using manual or mechanical means.
- Combine and organize products as needed, following proper procedures to consolidate shipments and prepare them for distribution.
- Process incoming shipments by inspecting, unloading, and verifying items against purchase orders or packing lists.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area by performing regular cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
- Safely lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs as required by various tasks within the warehouse.
- Exhibit exemplary attendance and punctuality.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
