Job summary

Dematic in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a motivated warehouse associate to support daily inventory and shipping tasks. You will read and follow detailed instructions, use basic computer skills to log data, and move loads with a pallet jack.

The role requires lifting up to 75 lbs, independent work, and flexibility to assist with other warehouse duties. Normal schedule is Monday through Friday with possible overtime to meet project needs.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $20.44 - $27.64 per hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

The individuals should have the following qualifications and be able to perform the duties listed below:

• Ability to read and write and follow detailed instructions.
• Basic computer skills, including working with spreadsheets for inventory control and documentation.
• Ability to safely lift packages weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and remain self-sufficient once given direction.
• Assist with general warehouse activities, including moving loads with a pallet jack, stacking, sorting, and organizing material.
• Follow a detailed sortation and inventory process to identify, organize, inventory, and document various overstock materials.
• Assist with general housekeeping as needed, including sweeping and keeping the warehouse/work areas organized.
• Be flexible and willing to assist with other general warehouse and stockroom tasks as assigned.

The normal schedule will be Monday through Friday. There may occasionally be opportunities for overtime during the week or some weekend work when additional support is needed to complete testing or finish a project.
