Job summary

Dematic in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a full-time warehouse assistant. The role involves general warehouse duties, pallet jack operation, and inventory handling to keep materials organized.

The base pay range is $20.44 - $27.64 per hour. Final pay depends on location, education, experience, and skills; schedule is Monday–Friday with occasional overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Able to lift packages weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Able to work independently and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general warehouse activities, including moving loads with a pallet jack, stacking, sorting, and organizing material.
• Follow a detailed sortation and inventory process to identify, organize, inventory, and document various overstock materials.
• Assist with general housekeeping as needed, including sweeping and keeping the warehouse/work areas organized.
• Be flexible and willing to assist with other general warehouse and stockroom tasks as assigned.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $20.44 - $27.64 per hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

The individuals should have the following qualifications and be able to perform the duties listed below:

• Ability to read and write and follow detailed instructions.
• Basic computer skills, including working with spreadsheets for inventory control and documentation.
• Ability to safely lift packages weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and remain self-sufficient once given direction.

• Assist with general warehouse activities, including moving loads with a pallet jack, stacking, sorting, and organizing material.
• Follow a detailed sortation and inventory process to identify, organize, inventory, and document various overstock materials.
• Assist with general housekeeping as needed, including sweeping and keeping the warehouse/work areas organized.
• Be flexible and willing to assist with other general warehouse and stockroom tasks as assigned.

The normal schedule will be Monday through Friday. There may occasionally be opportunities for overtime during the week or some weekend work when additional support is needed to complete testing or finish a project.
