Job summary

Spreetail Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Area Manager to lead our inbound or outbound teams within our fulfillment center. This role is an early leadership tier, serving as a gateway to other management opportunities across Spreetail's supply chain network.

You will drive shipment quality, efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration with carriers and marketplace partners while developing team members and sustaining brand integrity across distribution operations.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of management or leadership experience.
• Proficient in Excel, plan forecasting, and analysis.
• Experience in process mapping and SOP documentation.
• Ability to give and receive positive and negative feedback.
• Flexibility to work weekends and long hours during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Place importance on each shipment leaving the distribution center to uphold brand standards.
• Suggest process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
• Hold regular statuses with Leads to support growth of fulfillment center staff.
• Pre-plan with carriers to meet capacity expectations (carrier and FC).
• Drive effective communication with marketplace representatives to meet performance standards.

Spreetail is hiring a Warehouse Area Manager to lead our inbound or outbound teams within our fulfillment center. This role is among the first tiers of leadership and serves as a gateway to other management opportunities across Spreetail's supply chain network.

How you will achieve success:

• Place importance on each shipment that leaves our distribution center to ensure it represents our brand in the best way possible.
• Regularly suggest process improvements that will result in greater efficiency and accuracy.
• Hold regular statuses with Lead(s) to maximize training opportunities, address concerns, and contribute to the growth and development of fulfillment center team members.
• Pre-plan with carriers and network to ensure capacity expectations are met; both carrier and fulfillment center capacity.
• Drive effective communication with marketplace representatives to ensure performance standards are met and issues are communicated.

What experience will help you in this role:

• Attained 2-4 years of management or leadership experience.
• Proficient in Excel, plan forecasting, and analysis.
• Experience in process mapping and standard operating procedure documentation ability.
• Ability to give and receive positive and negative feedback.
• You can maintain flexibility to work some weekends and long hours during busy work periods.
