Job summary

1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC. seeks an Area Coordinator to oversee warehouse operations, manage materials flow, and lead a team to meet production targets. The role includes receiving, storage, transfers, and ensuring accuracy of receipts and orders.

You will work closely with the shift supervisor and systems specialist to resolve issues and drive continuous improvements, including training staff and maintaining inventory accuracy at multiple storage sites.

Responsibilities

• Use Warehouse Management System to research/gather information.
• Coordinate and manage the daily operations of the assigned area, ensuring adherence to policies and standards.
• Serve as the line lead, assisting with supervising workflow.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Provide one-on-one or group hands-on training for new and returning associates on ticket processing.
• Track inventory levels of products and reorder supplies as needed.
• Process orders and verify pricing and availability with vendors, and ship products to customers.
• Proficient in using computer applications and software relevant to the role.
• Foster a positive work culture that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as required
