Job summary

Habitat for Humanity International is seeking a Warehouse and Supply Coordinator to manage assets for the Build team involved in home construction and repairs. You will oversee warehouse inventory, tool upkeep, and vehicle maintenance on-site in a highly organized environment.

The role requires coordinating with project managers, maintaining stock of materials and PPE, and ensuring timely deployment of resources.

Qualifications

  • 2 years’ experience in facilities management, residential construction, or maintenance.
  • Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, equipment, and vehicles.
  • OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain within the first three months of employment.
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain warehouse, storage, and workspaces to be organized, safe, and efficient.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and preventive maintenance of tools and equipment.
  • Oversee fleet operations, including service scheduling, repairs, inspections, and registrations.
  • Engage volunteers for warehouse upkeep and special projects to maximize resources.
  • Collaborate with Build Team to identify and procure necessary tools and equipment.

Responsibilities include warehouse organization and inventory, tool upkeep, vehicle maintenance, vendor coordination, and supply procurement. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized self-starter with knowledge of residential construction tools, materials and inventory maintenance.

Your Work Schedule

Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 3:30 pm
100% of work occurs on site

Responsibilities

Required meetings: Monthly all-staff meetings, weekly departmental meetings, monthly Design and Construction Committee meetings as requested.

Key Responsibility Area: Warehouse and Fleet Management
  • Maintain warehouse, storage, and workspaces to ensure they are organized, safe, and optimized for operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and preventive maintenance of tools and equipment; manage lifecycle through timely disposal, sale, or donation of obsolete items.
  • Oversee fleet operations, including scheduling routine service, repairs, annual inspections, and registration compliance.
  • Engage and supervise volunteers for warehouse upkeep and special projects to maximize resources.
  • Collaborate with Build Team members to identify and procure necessary tools and equipment.
Key Responsibility Area: Procurement and Materials Management
  • Leverage bulk purchasing strategies to maintain adequate stock of frequently used construction materials and personal protective equipment (PPE) for ongoing projects.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers to organize and store project-specific materials and equipment (e.g., cabinets, windows, appliances) for timely deployment.
  • Partner with carpenters to ensure daily-use materials and tools are readily available and properly organized.
  • Perform regular inventory reconciliations to ensure accuracy between physical stock and the Sortly inventory management system.
Required Qualifications

Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

  • 2 years’ of experience working in a relevant work setting such as facilities management, residential construction, or maintenance
  • Hands-on construction experience and skill in a variety of repair and maintenance tasks are a plus, but knowledge of materials required
  • Proficiency with the operation and maintenance of power tools, hand tools, equipment, and vehicles
  • Ability to use a variety of basic office technology such as email, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work independently on self-directed tasks and complex projects
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills; ability to create and maintain schedules
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain certification within the first three months of employment
  • Desire to exhibit and promote the Habitat for Humanity philosophy, and an ability to effectively serve people of all backgrounds
Physical Requirements To Perform Duties
  • Ability to: regularly lift 40-80 pounds; work on ladders and scaffolding on heights up to two stories; work in unconditioned spaces (heat of summer, cold of winter).
