Job summary

Liquid Robotics in Jessup, MD seeks a Warehouse and Receiving Specialist to manage the receiving, storage and distribution of parts and supplies for internal production and external customers.

You will verify quantities and serial numbers, perform inventory transactions in the tracking system, optimize storage space, and support audits to maintain AS9100 compliance while ensuring safety and accuracy in daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and reviews incoming shipments for identification and damage.
• Coordinates and confirms receipt documentation for internal/external customers.
• Serves as point of contact for priority incoming shipments.
• Routes received material accordingly (e.g. Inspection/put-away/non-inventory-engineering/personal package).
• Executes receiving transactions into Inventory tracking system; verify quantity and serial numbers.
• Creates inventory locations in tracking system of physical warehouse inventory.
• Resolves discrepancies with accounting regarding invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports; data entry and reports maintenance.
• Executes movement of material from receiving to the warehouse safely.
• Advises on storage space optimization and inventory storage efficiency.
• Executes picking and kitting of materials to work order kit lists with accuracy.
• Oversees rotation of inventories using FIFO.
• Executes cycle count validation against count lists.
• Aims for 95%+ inventory accuracy.

Overview

The warehouse/receiving specialist executes the receiving, storage and distribution of all items received either from suppliers or production shops, ensuring a smooth and consistent operation so parts and supplies are located and distributed to proper departments, and production work orders in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements. This position will be located in our Jessup, MD headquarters.

Essential Responsibilities

Interacts frequently with internal and external personnel and customers. Obtains or provides information on important or sensitive organization matters.

• Oversees and reviews incoming shipments for identification and damage and coordinates with Quality Control.
• Coordinates and confirms receipt documentation for internal/external customers.
• Serves as point of contact for priority incoming shipments.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and typically 2 or more years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge formal MRP Inventory control systems (any)

Physical Demands

This is largely an active role; however, some sedentary desk work and filing is required. This would require the ability to lift parts and components and bending or standing on a stool as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift components and product up to 50 pounds and team lifts of 100 pounds.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for non-exempt: $20.76 – $28.55 per hour
