BioTAB Healthcare, LLC seeks a Warehouse Technician in Missouri to troubleshoot, diagnose, and manage pneumatic compression devices and related accessories in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Warehouse Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and managing pneumatic compression devices and related accessories. Working in a warehouse or depot environment, the technician ensures that all equipment is sanitized, calibrated, and compliant with manufacturer specifications and safety regulations before being shipped. This role, reporting to the team’s Managers, will require an exceptional level of detail, strong service acumen, and an emphasis on process execution and quality control.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with electromechanical systems, particularly pneumatic systems (pumps, valves, airflow).
Diagnostic Abilities: Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical test instruments (e.g., multimeters).
Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency is necessary, and familiarity with specific healthcare software or systems may be required depending on the role. Ability to read and interpret manufacturer manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics.
Dexterity: Good hand-eye coordination for delicate repairs and assembling small parts.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills: To interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to work independently and as a team member, take direction and participate in Continuous Education as required for the role.
Excellent organizational and time management skills: To manage a high volume of tasks and ensure timely processing of information.
Attention to detail: To ensure accuracy in records and reporting information. Ability to multitask and prioritize duties to support delivery timelines.
DOT Certification: required for roles involving transportation and shipping logistics.
Forklift Certification: current certification required at the time of interview.
Problem-solving skills: To address any issues or challenges that may arise during the work process.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An Associates degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or a similar technical field is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in repairing medical devices (Durable Medical Equipment) or similar electromechanical equipment is highly desirable.
