Job summary

BioTAB Healthcare, LLC seeks a Warehouse Technician in Missouri to troubleshoot, diagnose, and manage pneumatic compression devices and related accessories in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will ensure equipment is sanitized, calibrated, and compliant with manufacturer specifications and safety regulations before shipping.

This role requires meticulous record-keeping and a focus on process execution and quality control.

Qualifications

  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with electromechanical systems, particularly pneumatic systems (pumps, valves, airflow).
  • Diagnostic Abilities: Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical test instruments (e.g., multimeters).
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency is necessary, and familiarity with specific healthcare software or systems may be required depending on the role. Ability to read and interpret manufacturer manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics.
  • Dexterity: Good hand-eye coordination for delicate repairs and assembling small parts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills: To interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to work independently and as a team member, take direction and participate in Continuous Education as required for the role.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills: To manage a high volume of tasks and ensure timely processing of information.

Job description

Warehouse Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and managing pneumatic compression devices and related accessories. Working in a warehouse or depot environment, the technician ensures that all equipment is sanitized, calibrated, and compliant with manufacturer specifications and safety regulations before being shipped. This role, reporting to the team’s Managers, will require an exceptional level of detail, strong service acumen, and an emphasis on process execution and quality control.

Experience

- Experience: Previous experience in repairing medical devices (Durable Medical Equipment) or similar electromechanical equipment is highly desirable.

Job Requirements & Physical Demands
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds, must be able to lift 40 pounds from the floor and lift to waist level.
  • Must be able to kneel, stoop, climb stairs and reach with hands and arms.
  • Reliable work transportation.
  • Candidates must pass an extensive background check including drug screening.
  • Strict adherence to HIPAA, Medicare Fraud, Waste, and Abuse and privacy regulations in all patient interactions.
