Job summary

Nextlink Internet is seeking a Warehouse Associate to manage day‑to‑day operations in our Hudson Oaks, TX warehouse. You will handle shipping, receiving, inventory, and basic equipment programming while keeping the facility safe and organized.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, loading/unloading, and supporting site projects. A high school diploma or GED is required, with prior warehouse experience preferred and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Responsible for day to day operations of the warehouse, such as, ordering, receiving deliveries, programming equipment and the overall cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.

Essential Functions

  • Shipping
  • Receiving RMAs of faulty equipment
  • Maintain a clean warehouse
  • Operate a forklift safely
  • Ordering and maintaining inventory minimum quantities
  • Pull needed equipment from inventory for new tower sites
  • Program equipment as needed
  • Keep the warehouse and surrounding areas clean, including outside areas
  • Prevent access to warehouse from unauthorized personnel
  • Loading and unloading boxes/trucks/pallets
  • Other duties as assigned
Skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively to team and management
  • Must be able to work independently and be reliable
  • Must be organized and able to learn
  • Work with basic hand tools
  • Ability to lift/pull heavy equipment
  • Must have a team-oriented mentality and be safety conscious
  • Must pass a drug screening test and a criminal background check
  • Basic computer knowledge and Microsoft programs is preferred
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Previous warehouse or similar experience preferred

  • Working in a warehouse environment
  • Working in outdoor elements such as cold, hot, precipitation and wind
  • In proximity of heavy machinery and moving vehicles
  • Moderate noise level
Physical Demands
  • Frequently moving in and around the warehouse
  • Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffoldings, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms
  • Frequently moving, transporting, positioning objects of 50 pounds or more
Working Hours/Days

Monday through Friday 7am – 4pm Full time Overtime if necessary

Travel Requirements

0-10% travel required as needed
