Job summary

Slumberland in Baxter, MN is seeking a Part-Time Warehouse and Delivery Associate to join our team. You will help with deliveries to customer locations and maintain safe truck operations, with weekend shifts required.

Responsibilities include moving materials between receiving and showroom, supporting showroom display, and assisting with building and grounds maintenance while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid and insurable driver's license required.
• Ability to get MN Medical Examiner certificate.
• Pre-employment drug testing including cannabis due to DOT requirements.
• Ability to frequently lift and move 75+ pounds.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse or delivery experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to customer locations and ensure safe operation of the delivery truck, including daily inspections and mileage tracking.
• Move materials from receiving to showroom and other designated areas with proper handling.
• Assist with building and grounds maintenance and showroom presentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service on deliveries.

Our Slumberland location in Baxter, MN is currently looking for a Part-Time Warehouse and Delivery Associates to join our team! This position reports directly to the Store Manager of our Baxter Slumberland.

The Role of the Warehouse/Delivery Associate:

As a Warehouse/Delivery associate you would assist with deliveries to customer locations and safe operations of the delivery truck, to include daily inspections and tracking of fluids and mileage. You would move materials from the receiving areas to other designated areas, including the showroom, ensuring proper handling and operations for manual lifts and power equipment to ensure safety. In this position you would also assist with building and grounds maintenance. You are an important member of the team as we put our best foot forward through the display of our showroom, our warehouse, and offering exceptional customer service on deliveries!

This position will be scheduled for weekend shifts, so ideal candidates must have availability to work during the weekends. Part time hours for this position may range between 8-29 hours weekly depending on business needs.

What we offer:

Our compensation package goes above and beyond the hourly wage for this position. The pay for this position is $18 per hour. Part Time employees are still eligible to accrue Paid Time Off (PTO), Employee Purchase Discounts, and may reach eligibility for the 401(k) after the waiting period if hours worked requirement is met.
