Job summary

Quanta Manufacturing Fremont is seeking a Warehouse Analyst to support the Warehouse Manager and Inventory Control Manager by performing receiving operations and analyzing warehouse data to improve efficiency and accuracy.

This role serves as a bridge between warehouse operations and data systems, developing reports, dashboards, and KPIs, and leading automation and process improvements to reduce cycle time and errors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, or related field.
  • 1+ years in warehouse ops, inventory control, or logistics.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze warehouse data and performance related to Receiving, Inventory Control, Material Handling, Kitting, and Transfer to Production.
  • Monitor inventory transactions and investigate discrepancies to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to support operational decisions.
  • Evaluate warehouse processes to reduce cycle time, improve accuracy, and increase productivity.
  • Lead and support warehouse automation and digitalization initiatives to reduce manual processes and improve data accuracy.
  • Develop and implement barcode scanning, material traceability, and transaction validation solutions to minimize errors in receiving, inventory, and shipping.
  • Establish and maintain cross-reference databases between customer, manufacturer, and internal part numbers for accurate identity and processing.
  • Design and maintain control mechanisms to quickly detect variances, issues, and discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with Warehouse, Receiving, Inventory Control, and ITE teams to improve system functionality and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement projects to enhance warehouse performance.
  • Create and maintain SOPs related to warehouse systems, inventory transactions, and process controls.
  • Support system enhancements, testing, and implementation of new warehouse technologies and tools.

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Analyst position supports the Warehouse Manager and Inventory Control Manager by performing receiving operations. This role is responsible for analyzing warehouse operations, inventory transactions, and process performance to identify opportunities for improving efficiency, inventory accuracy, productivity, and cost savings. This role serves as a bridge between warehouse operations and data systems, supporting continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis, process optimization, and automation.

Responsibilities:

  • Support system enhancements, testing, and implementation of new warehouse technologies and tools.
Skills and Abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with SQL, or data visualization tools is preferred.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and material flow processes.
  • Experience with barcode systems, inventory tracking, and warehouse process improvement is preferred.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, supply chain, logistics, data analysis, or related functions.
  • Experience using SAP or similar inventory/ERP systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude while performing tasks efficiently and safely.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment without central heating or air conditioning.
  • Frequently required to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
  • Ability to speak clearly and hear effectively to communicate with team members, supervisors, and external partners.
