Qualifications

THE JOB:

As an on-call Wardrobe Technician, you will play an essential role in bringing our live entertainment productions to life. In this role, you will be responsible for performing show cues and maintaining performer make-up and costumes throughout the run of a show. You will support make-up application, sewing, garment construction, and ongoing wardrobe and costume maintenance. Through your craftsmanship, specialized wardrobe techniques, and attention to detail, you will assist with costume fittings, alterations, repairs, restoration, patterning, and construction ensuring each costume remains performance-ready while preserving its original design and contributing to an exceptional entertainment experience for our guests.

THE STARTING RATE: $39.82

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

The Wardrobe Technician will assist with the Wardrobe department operations including performing show cues for scheduled shows

• Maintain a safe work environment during performances and rehearsals
• Maintain, inspect, adjust, construct, and repair costumes and accessories to preserve their quality, functionality, and original design
• Perform sewing, fittings, alterations, and garment repairs while supporting specialized wardrobe activities, including fabric dyeing, makeup, and costume finishing, as needed
• Collaborate with Wardrobe team members and other theatrical departments to coordinate costume needs, address repairs, and support production schedules
• Maintain organized work areas, properly handle wardrobe materials and equipment, and follow established costume care and maintenance procedures

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
• 2+ years of prior relevant experience in Theatrical Wardrobe experience, on a large-scale production required
• Previous experience in theatrical wardrobe, costume production, professional tailoring, garment alterations, or a related field, with hands-on experience in make-up application, sewing, garment construction, fittings, alterations, or costume repairs
