THE JOB:

As an on-call Showroom Ticketing Clerk, you will help create memorable entertainment experiences by assisting guests with ticket purchases, reservations, and inquiries for shows, events, and attractions across MGM Resorts properties. You will provide knowledgeable and friendly service, process transactions accurately, and promote entertainment offerings while supporting the daily operations of the showroom ticket office.

THE STARTING RATE:

$16.25

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Assist guests with ticket purchases, reservations, will-call orders, and ticket verification for shows, events, exhibits, and attraction
• Promote entertainment offerings through upselling and cross-selling while providing accurate information about show schedules, pricing, and property amenities
• Process cash, credit, and other payment transactions accurately while maintaining and balancing assigned cash drawers
• Respond to guest inquiries, answer incoming telephone calls, and assist with resolving ticketing concerns while delivering exceptional customer service
• Utilize ticketing software and computer systems to process transactions, maintain accurate records, and support efficient daily ticket office operations

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Previous experience in ticket sales, box office operations, entertainment venues, high volume cash handling, or a similar hospitality environment preferred
• Maintain current knowledge of property entertainment offerings, including show schedules, upcoming events, promotions, ticket pricing, and available attractions to provide accurate information and recommendations to guests.
