Job summary

Insomniac Events is seeking a highly motivated Entertainment Wardrobe Specialist to join our team, reporting to the Entertainment Director. The role centers on organizing wardrobe for shows, distributing costumes, and maintaining visual quality throughout performances.

You will collaborate with performers, assist with fittings, repairs, and on-site changes, while upholding safety and organization across busy event environments.

Qualifications

• Diploma in fashion, textiles, costuming, production arts, or 3+ years wardrobe experience.
• Practical skills in hand and machine sewing.
• Able to recreate a look from a photo/description clearly.
• Knowledge of live entertainment and Insomniac brands is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize wardrobe area for efficiency and speed.
• Assign, document, and recollect wardrobe items for entertainers at check-in/out.
• Work with performers on costume elements during show run, rehearsals, and changes.
• Fit performers to costume sizing for body shape and size.
• Provide grooming feedback if required.
• Ensure quality of each look using the wardrobe checklist.
• Assist team with quick changes during setup and run of show.
• Repair, clean and prep wardrobe for the run of the show.
• Make alterations or mend wardrobe items as needed.
• Maintain costumes, footwear, props, and accessories.
• Maintain a safe working environment and documentation.
