Job summary

Insomniac Events is seeking a highly motivated Entertainment Wardrobe Specialist to join our Entertainment team. This role supports performers, coordinates costume elements, fittings, and on-show styling during high-energy events.

You will work with designers and technicians to maintain costumes and props, manage wardrobe check-in/out, and ensure safety and quality across shows. Some travel may be required; prior experience in live entertainment is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in fashion, textiles, costuming, production arts, or 3 years of wardrobe experience.
• Hands-on sewing skills (hand and machine).
• Ability to recreate looks from photos or descriptions.
• Experience repairing costumes, accessories, and footwear.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of live entertainment and Insomniac brands/shows.
• Experience in entertainment, theater, theme parks or live events is a plus.
• Some travel may be required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize wardrobe area for efficiency and speed.
• Assign, document, and recollect wardrobe items at check-in/out.
• Work with performers on distribution and styling of costume elements.
• Fit performers to costume sizing.
• Provide feedback on appearances and grooming.
• Ensure final look quality using the 8-point checklist.
• Assist with quick changes during setup and run.
• Repair, clean, and prep wardrobe for run of show.
• Make alterations as needed for shows.
• Maintain costumes, footwear, props and accessories.
• Maintain safe working environment and follow safety policies.
• Maintain documentation for maintenance and rotation of duties.
• Proper clean up, repack and storage at end of show.
