Job summary

Bitterroot Health in Hamilton, Montana is seeking a part-time Ward Clerk / Telemetry Technician to support the Nursing Department. This dual-role combines clerical duties with patient monitoring to ensure smooth clinical operations and timely communication.

You will monitor cardiac rhythms and pulse oximetry, maintain EMR records, and assist with unit workflows across Medical-Surgical, SWING, CDU and Birthing Center. A HS diploma and telemetry coursework within 6 months are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Telemetry Course within six months of hire.
• Strong attention to detail and communication.

Responsibilities

• Answer and direct incoming calls; coordinate care team communication.
• Enter and maintain information in the EMR.
• Support daily operations of Medical-Surgical, SWING, CDU, and Birthing Center units.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, ECGs, and pulse oximetry.
• Document rhythm changes and communicate to nursing staff.
