Job summary

KBR seeks a War Reserve Equipment Mechanic for Morón Air Base, Spain, to maintain Aerospace Ground Equipment and Ground Support Equipment supporting USAF flight line operations. You’ll perform inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance while using ELMS/IMDS to document actions.

Role requires 3+ years AGE/GSE experience, valid driver’s license, ability to obtain US security clearance, and EPA 608 certification. Training and career growth are available within a global leader.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen and able to obtain US Secret Security Clearance.
• Minimum of three years’ experience as AGE/GSE mechanic in military or civilian aviation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; USAF AFSC 2A6X2/2W0X1 or equivalent trades accepted.
• EPA 608 refrigerant certification or equivalent environmental certification.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate heavy equipment incl. forklift.
• Experience using ELMS/IMDS to document maintenance actions.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on AGE/GSE, MMHE trailers, rail sets, and conveyors.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems under supervision.
• Use ELMS/IMDS or equivalent to track maintenance actions and records.
• Ensure workmanship complies with technical orders, specs and safety standards.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment in line with regulations.
• Possess physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in active flightline/industrial environment.
